Here’s the one guy in the country who actually fell off the ship on the booze cruise this year in Cancun. Yup, I’m the drunk who lost it over the railing and took a big bath in the Gulf of Mexico. We were on the way back from the island and I was dancing on the top deck after many chilled beverages. I lost my footing on the bobbing ship and took a dive three decks down into the water. I floated there for 15 minutes with a life ring until a Mexican guy in a dingy rowed out to save me. Besides the crowd waiting to laugh at me on the beach, I had to spend 20 minutes listen to the police lecture me in broken English about the dangers on falling in the water.
